Thanks, Toys R Us.
This my NSFW art from tsukinofaerii’s reverse big bang fic, Waking the Dragon. It is an excellent fantasy AU with dragons and porn. What else do you need? Go read it!
The main art post with the pic that prompted the fic and all the work safe art will come shortly after this one. It’ll also have the cap-ironman reverse bang tag.
Art under the cut, if I did things correctly. >.>
Allll my art and sketches from the [cap-ironman] reverse big bang. Well, everything but the porn and nudity, [that’s posted separately].
My author was tsukinofaerii, who wrote the AU fantasy fic [Waking the Dragon], which inspired everything after the first image, and wow. I couldn’t help but want to draw… everything. So if you want to know what is going on, go read it! Actually, go read it regardless, especially if Tony/Steve, dragons, and AUs are your thing.

So I drew Tony Stark as a werewolf from a tabletop roleplaying game that has been out of print for years. The nerdiness embodied by this image is undeniable.
… Tony would be the ultimate Glass Walker, though, with all the best tech fetishes. I like to think of him as the son of pureblood Silver Fangs who was refused by the tribe’s totem during his Rite of Passage and then claimed by Cockroach for the Glass Walkers (… man, why does the Glass Walker totem have to be Cockroach?). Just another reason for Howard’s bitter, bitter disappointment.
And Steve is a total Child of Gaia. And I’m not just saying that because that would make his tribal totem Unicorn. That is just an amusing bonus.
Really, I could create a whole Werewolf soap opera using the Avengers as fodder. Or a whole Avengers soap opera using Werewolf as fodder. Either way, it would be incredibly dorky and incomprehensible to anyone who isn’t familiar with both… so just about everybody. But you don’t have to be familiar with W:tA to understand a picture of werewolf!Tony and his suit that apparently shapeshifts with him, so there’s that, at least.
Oh, Werewolf: the Apocalypse. Despite all your problems — of which there were many — I still can’t quit you./screaming with excitement
OMG someone else is into Werewolf! \o/ I love love love the idea of Tony as a Glass Walker. (Pepper would be perfect as Glass Walker kinfolk, too). And Tony would have the best tech fetishes.
As for Steve…that one’s harder since he doesn’t fit any of the tribes exactly, but I can see him choosing the Children of Gaia. Maybe he could be a metis, one parent a Child of Gaia and the other Fianna? His pre-serum medical conditions could have been his ‘deformity’ (Perhaps Dr. Erskine was Garou as well…the serum combined with a rite to change Steve’s body?).
And seriously- Carol, Jennifer and the Jessicas totally need to be a pack of Black Furies. Natasha would make an interesting Silent Strider…so many ideas… :D
Yessss. And here I thought I was going to just get the side eye and be ignored. There are still Werewolf fans out there! I feel a sudden urge to drag out all my source books from my city campaign.
I deleted out some of my rambling when I first posted this, thinking I would just be talking to myself. Now I will ramble a bit more since I have too much fun contemplating W:tA fusions.
I thought about Steve as a metis, but I’m torn about it. I could buy Erskine as a Glass Walker who is trying to basically solve Garou breeding problems forever by developing a serum to make metis virile and/or healthy. The problem for me comes in with all the prophecy surrounding the Perfect Metis. Even if Steve wouldn’t technically fulfill it, having been born with metis flaws, most of the Western Concordiat would probably see him as an abomination among abominations. Which Steve wouldn’t stand for, but I would hesitate to put him in the role of a hated outsider. So I might still opt for abnormally sickly homid. Maybe he or his mother were exposed to wyrm toxins early on to account for it.
Thinking of The American Dream as Steve’s pack or personal totem makes me feel fuzzy inside. Also I would enjoy Stark Industries awakening as a Corporate Father totem.
Natashaaa. Yes, Strider is a good option. I was thinking Strider or Shadow Lord… assuming the Shadow Lord tribe is not cartoonishly evil like it is sometimes portrayed. I am pleased I am not the only one who doesn’t feel Black Fury is automatically the best fit for every female who kicks ass (nothing against the Furies — I am all over Carol as one)
